Best prime rib in Oshawa. It's been there a long time and I love it. Been eating there for over twenty years.

Marwood is one of Oshawa's most unknown gems. Good home cooking, friendliest staff in Oshawa and pricing you can't beat. Breakfast for 3 typically under $20 tax included. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome from the very first visit. By the third visit, they probably remember what you ate the last time. We go there every weekend for Saturday or Sunday (sometimes both) morning breakfast. They don't even give us menu's any more just delivery the tea & coffee followed by the breakfast. They do maks sure we haven't changed our mind just to be sure.......

Hello,my name is Marko,and i own Marwood park restaurant with my parents Nick and Helen.To anyone that may be intrested on visiting,i can say that my father along with my mother bring forty years of expierience into this rest.Our view on how to serve a good and enjoyable meal is simple!!Serve it the way we and our family would eat it!!All our meals are very sizeable because we beleive giving the customer value for his/hers money.But size is not all,the taste and quality is important along with concistency.Our menu was tested and tried before at another restaurant we owned north of hamilton and it was a great success.Our breakfast is simply awesome,with a wide selection of popular items,waffles,french toast(real,thick egg loaf bread not thin white toast),many choises of egg dishes,omelettes,italian,greek,mexican,corned beef and cheddar,spanish and more.We are a dying breed of people who work seven days a week and make it our life to run a private bussiness(restaurant),where 80% of our menu is homemade,from my hands or my parents hands.The point of this little story is that,where big franchises are taking over the little guys still have something great to offer to the public,with every day care from a close family that goes into every aspect,and not from a teenager that just wants his paycheck and go home.Thank you for reading my comments,for a terrific breakfast or a wonderfull dinner come visit us,and remember,hugs from my mother and a crushing handshake from my father are free!!CHEERS,Marko.
