A traditional 'greasy spoon' breakfast without the grease. Here's the place in Oshawa where you can order a breakfast and have it at your table before you turn the page of your newspaper. The food is uncomplicated, plentiful and cheap, and the service is one of the best in the city. Really.

A GM Special costs $3.99 and it's a delicious plate of bacon (or ham, peameal, etc.) and eggs, homefries, toast, optional fried onions on the side, etc. M-mmmm.

Often noisy and crowded, this is the place to soak up the local culture. Don't miss it.

But yeah. It's amazing.

The staff are amazing, even if we haven't been in a month, they even remember what myself, my hubby and two kids order for drinks... and some of them even know my kids' names! The portions are HUGE for the price you pay, so you never go home hungry and ALWAYS get your money's worth. I never leave without a doggy-bag. It's small and cozy, the music's good... and it's been there forever, so they've got a good thing going. Definately recommend it.
