The food and the price was beautiful! Their Shrimp Pad Thai and Pumkin soup is too good.

I visited this restaurant last night for dinner with two friends. They had arrived earlier than I so when I arrived they had drinks. No one approached me about ordering a drink. While our meals were good, the service was terrible. We weren't offered water or anything else to drink including tea or coffee. The server did not approach us about dessert. In fact, once our meals were served he ignored us. We had to approach him for our bill. One of my friends has run into poor service here on a previous occasion. None of us will be returning nor would we recommend this restaurant.

We have been to Azian so many times since it has opened and our favorite place to eat. The servers are so friendly with an extra special thank you to Mel!! Plenty of food on your plate and many selections to choice from.

Ive been to Azian about 10 times since it has opened! every visit is exceptional!!!

We've been back 5 or 6 times now. We just can't resist this wonderful gastronomic treat in Oshawa. It's even better than most upscale Asian restaurants in Toronto. We especially enjoy the Baked Golden Avacado with seafood - it's to die for. The House Special Fried Rice with soft shell crab, scallop & shrimp is so so yumcious. The Sashimi & Sushi Special in brown rice is downright fresh and tasty. We are getting hungry for aZian Cuisine again just writing about this. Great job!

My boyfriend and I visit this restaurant every chance we get - which is not nearly as often as I would like. The food, ambiance and service are all exceptional. The menu is very extensive with something for everyone. We make a point of trying something new every time we are there and have never been disappointed. In fact I'll be visiting again this evening.

The food is always excellent every time I go. I go there frequently ever since I've become addicted to the Salmon Teriyaki dinner (big salmon portions!)....The Won Ton Soup, as well as the Fried Bananas and Ice Cream is top notch....I've lived in Oshawa my whole life, and have grown tired of typical North American food places.

When I was in university, I tried all sorts of international foods...When I came back home, I hoped that there would be a nice Asian restaurant. When I saw the restaurant, I had high hopes that it would be great, and I was not disappointed!

The service is always solid..Server Mel usually serves my friends and I, and he is always a classy, welcoming guy.

This is an EXCELLENT restaurant! I hope it has years and years of success!

We were a party of 6 for dinner and I must say the food was exceptionally fresh and filled with wonderful flavors. The servers were very knowledgable and friendly. 2 members of our dining party had food alergies (wheat, mushrooms and shell fish) the waiter was attentive to our needs.

Cannot wait to go again

The food, the service, the ambience...awesome. My only regret is that this restaurant is not where I live. When I visit Oshawa I am excited at the thought of eating at Azian....yummy!!!

We had dinner there on Saturday, May 9th, 2009 and I must say it was one of the best meals in
a restaurant I have had in a long time. I travel extensively for work and eat in restaurants
probably 100 nights per year and this was one of the best. Simple, good food at reasonable prices.
I will go back.

Went with friends and was amazed by the selection of different asian types of food - so many curries to choose from that you can't wait to go back and try another and another. The portions are huge, the food all tastes unique,the brown sushi is unbelievably fresh and tasty, and the spicy sushi is just that - spicy, not bland but wakes up your mouth with a yumminess you don't expect ! The lobster sushi is to die for! The decor is very classy, comfortable and Zen and I have to admit with 3 noisy children the staff was ever so patient - thank you! The host talks to you at the end of the meal, getting to know the clients - a very nice touch!

Wow. I can't decide where to start. Decor? Beautiful, clean, simple, comfortable, just extraordinary. The staff? Friendly, attentive, made you feel like they really appreciated your patronage. The food? The best selection of Pan Asian cuisine I've seen since moving out here from Toronto, made it difficult to decide. The sushi was the freshest I've had in a very long time. The only complaint we might have had was that the portion sizes for the maki rolls were a little too big to eat in one bite. But to complain about getting too much for your dollar isn't really a bad thing. But something of special note is the Kamikaze roll. I was expecting your basic avocado roll with some generic hot sauce added, I was so wrong. One of the most delicious things I've ever tasted. The spicy sauce has a flavour that goes beyond being just hot but it explodes with a fullness and smokiness that was just surprising.

My new favourite place.

Please support them, our city needs places like this if it is to survive. This is the future of Oshawa.

Excellent food, calming surroundings and good service

I am thrilled that Azian offers sushi with brown rice! We eat there at least once a month, and always order the brown rice.

It's Probably The Best Food I Have Ever Eaten In A Restaurant Before In My Life, All My Friends And Family That Have Eaten There Have Said The Same Thing. First time there. food was great, very tasty and good temperature. The service was a little slow....wasnt impressed that my spring rolls arrived same time as my meal, but cest la vie. Good value for the price.

I used to have to drive into Toronto to get some good, NON-NORTH AMERICAN Asian Cuisine. The food here is unique, delicious, colourful, the atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. It is the first time I've been in a restaurant and have a conversation with people at the table beside me asking each other what did you order this time? I am not surprised to see all the great reviews, Oshawa really needed a a place like this. Mango Chicken in Pheonix nest is the best by far!

They have the best calamari I've ever had!! Large portions, great prices and wonderful staff.

I'd dined in Azian 4 times this summer. Their mango salad, UFO & green curry are the best!!! Service needs improvement tho ....

I reluctantly went to the restaurant with a friend. I generally do not like sushi but was told they had other things on the menu and to my surprise the menu was very extensive and was able to find something that I liked and the food was excellent and I have been back there twice and tried other things as well. I have tried the teriyaki, chilli chicken and two different wok dishes and all the food was excellent. I can't comment on the sushi but all the other dishes that I have tried has been excellent quality, quantity. I look forward to going back over and over again. Also the decor was a fresh departure from your typical restaurant and it made me feel that I was wisked away out of oshawa and was dining in a trendy location in toronto.

We absulutely adore this place. The selection is excellent... there is something for everybody. Favorites are the mango salad, enoki beef roll, and all of the curry dishes are superb! Dine in or take out - the service is excellent. We have given up cooking for our friends. Instead we order Azian Cuisine, a complete crowd pleaser! We will be back again and again.

I didn't want to share this because it is already gaining popularity but....it is excellent food & presentation! It will take me a year to go through the menu...but I will do it!! The service is out of this world...very attentive. I recommend the UFOs and Enoki Beef as appetizers...the house fried rice is divine!!

I will give two reviews on this restaurant. One on the food, the other on the service. This one will be about the food. The food at this establishment is very good. All ingredients are fresh and well cooked. My husband and I and another couple visited tonight and totally enjoyed the food. However, my next review about the service is not as good.

As I stated before, I feel compelled to provide a review about the service at the restaurant. My husband and another couple were at Azian's tonight. While it was our first time, it was the third time for the other couple. Each and every time there they have experienced poor service. While the staff seem to try hard, they brought our appetizers with our main course. We also never received some items that we ordered. Our friends were fed up and upon trying to correct it, the waiter said he tries but the kitchen doesn't listen. We finally took it up with the owner who acknowledged a consistent communication problem among her staff. She apologized profusely and our dinners were on the house as an apology for what we went through. I will give the establishment another try and hopefully the will get their act together soon. Kudos to the manager for recognizing a problem and fixing ours.

Service is poor.

Neither high end nor fast food (ughhhh), aZian has brought true Asian into Durham. Extensive and versatile menu comprising of Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese...this will be difficult to deplete my thirst for more. And wait till you breeze their selection of booze. These guys have done an exceptional job.
